AFFIDAVIT IN AID OF TITLE
poses and says:
1. That he is a practicing attorney /n St. Joseph County,
Indiana, and that he has been e practicing attorney in St. Joseph
County, Indiana, for more that twenty (20) years, last past.
u. That he knows of his own personal knowledge that
Joseph Vogel was the owner, on the date of his death, of the fol-
lowing described real estate in the State of Indiana, St. Joseph
County, to wit:
Lot No. 59 in the South Bend Industrial
Addition to the City of South Bend.
]. That as a result of the death of Joseph Vogel, title
to said real estate was vested in his wife, Ella Vogel, and his only
son, Jerome Vogel.
4. That he knows of his own personal knowledge that upon
the death of Ella Vogel, title to said real estate was vested in
Jerome onga| by operation of law and by operation of the proceedings
in the Estate of Ella Vogel, Estate No. 23620 in the St. Joseph
County Probate Court, St. Joseph County, Indiana.
5, That the only hair at the time of her death, under
the Statutes of the State of Indiana, was her only son, Jerome Vogel.
6. That he became acquainted with Joseph Vogel and Ella
Vngc7' husband and wife, during their lifetime, as he represented
them on several occasions as their attorney, and as he was a neigh-
bor, friend and attorney for their son, Jerome Vogel.
7. That he knows that Leah Vogel is the wife of Jerome

Vogel, and that they have lived toR her as husband an
date of their marriage to the date of this affidavit.

8. That he makes this affidavit for the express purpose
of aiding title to said rce\ estate, and for no other purpose
whatsoever.
