GRANT OF EASEMENT TO THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND,
INDIANA, FOR THE USE OF THE PUBLIC
IN CONSIDERATION of the payment of one Dollar ($1.00)
and other good and valuable consideration, receipt whereof is hereby
acknowledged, the undersigned, DONALD F. HICKEY, hereby gives and
grants to the City of South Bend, Indiana, a municipal corporation,
for vehicular and pedestrian use by'members of the public, and for
the construction and maintenance of publicly owned utilities and
surface water control structures and ditches, an easement over the
following described land in the City of South Bend, County of
St. Joseph, State of Indiana:
Beginning at a point on the West line of Lot 1
Chapin's Subdivision of B.O.L. 182 at a distance
of (118.35) feet South of the Northwest corner
of Lot 1; thence South (14) feet; thence South-
easterly (51) feet to the Southeast corner of
Lot 2 Chapin's subdivision; thence Northeasterly
(16) feet along the Southeasterly line of Lot 2;
thence Northwesterly (57) feet to place of beginning.
