A careful check of the records of the Board of Public Works
Office revealed that there was no deed on file for the
following property acquired for the Jefferson Street Parking Garage:
Lots Numbered Thirty-nine (39) and Forty (40)
Original Plat of South Bend
This property was acquired by the City through a Purchase
Agreement dated May 29, 1969 between the City of South Bend
and B.V., Inc., c/0 William E. Voor, Sr.
In order to complete the file, a copy of the deed has been
obtained from the St. Joseph County Recorder and a Deed Number
has been assigned to the deed.
