ORDINANCE NO. 11121-24
AN ORDINANCE OF THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND,
INDIANA, APPROPRIATING ADDITIONAL FUNDS OF $9,000,000 FROM THE GENERAL
FUND (#101).
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT
The Common Council passed the City's 2024 operating and capital budgets via Ordinance
#10971-23, passed on October 9, 2023, which included expenditures for various City operations.
It is now necessary to appropriate additional funds for the purpose of the Morris Performing Arts
Center Renovation Phase 2 project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of South
Bend, Indiana, as follows:
Section I. The following amounts are hereby appropriated in fiscal year 2024 and set apart
within the following designated funds for expenditures as follows:

General Fund (#101) $ 9,000,000
TOTAL $9,000,000
Section II. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage by the
Common Council and approval of the Mayor.
