Thisindenture witnesseth that J. Rex Cooper and Mae Cooper, husband and wife,
of St. Joseph County in the State of Indiana
Convey and warrant to The Municipal City of South Bend
Of St. Joseph County in the State of Indiana
for and inconsideration of one ($1.00) Dollar and other valuable Consideration
the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, the following Real Estate in St. Joseph County
in the State of Indiana, to wit:
A triangular tract of land described as follows: Beginning
at the Southeast corner of Lot Numbered Eighteen (18) as
shown on the recorded plat of Lederer's Michigan Avenue Addition
to the City of South Bend, thence Northerly along the Eastern
end of said lot a distance of 15 feet; thence Southwesterly
to a point on the Southerly side of said lot 15 feet from
the Southeast corner of said lot; thence Southeasterly along
the South side of said lot a distance of 15 feet to the
place of beginning.
This conveyance is made by the grantors herein to the
City of South Bend to be used for alley purposes.
The consideration for this conveyance being less than
$50.00 no Federal Documentary Stamps are attached.
