This indenture witnesseth that PLACE AND COMPANY, INC.,
an Indiana Corporation, of St. Joseph County in the State of India,aa,
Conveys and warrants to the CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, a
Municipal Corporation, of St. Joseph County in the State of
Indiana, for and in consideration of One Dollar ($1.00) and other
good and valuable consideration, the receipt whereof is hereby ack
nowledged, the following Real Estate in St. Joseph County, in the
State of Indiana, to wit:
Beginning 350.0 feet South of the Northeast corner of the South=
east Quarter of Section 25, Township 37 North, Range 2 East;
thence West 450.0 feet parallel to the North line of the said
Southeast Quarter; thence North 119.55 feet parallel to the East
line of the said Southeast Quarter to a point 230.45 feet
Southerly from the North line of the said Southeast Quarter;
thence West 359.6 feet parallel to the said North line of the
said Southeast Quarter; thence South 326.0 feet parallel to the
East line of the said Southeast Quarter; thence East 809.6 feet
to the East line of the said Southeast Quarter; thence North
206.45 feet along said East line of the said Southeast Quarter
to the place of beginning, containing approximately 4.82 acres,
together with an easement for the maintenance of a water reten-
tion basin and dike therefor on the following described property
in such County and State:
Beginning at a point 230.45 feet South and 809.6 feet West of

Township 37 North, Range 2 East; thence South 326.0 feet
parallel to the East line of said Southeast Quarter; thence
West 30.0 feet parallel to the North line of said Southeast
Quarter; thence North 326.0 feet parallel to the East line of
the said Southeast Quarter; thence East 30.0 feet parallel
to the North line of said Southeast Quarter to the place of
beginning -
it is hereby asserted and affirmed that no Indiana Gross Income
