Engineering noted American Highway Products, Bit-Mat Products, Klink Trucking, and K-Tech Specialty did not include a signed copy of Addendum No. 1, which addressed the requirement to submit all bid electronically in the Notice to Bidders. The language in Addendum No. 1 did not impact the overall specifications of the materials. Per the attached bid tabulation, Engineering recommends approval of the following awards for the 2024 Street and Sewer Materials Bids: DIVISION A Award to the lowest responsive/responsible bidder: Smith Ready Mix. Due to the needs of the City, Division A will be awarded in its entirety to a single supplier for all Line Items. After further review of the total unit price breakdown, Smith Ready Mix is the lowest overall unit price for Division A. DIVISION B, Items B-1 Award to the lowest responsive/responsible bidder: Rieth Riley Construction Co., Inc. DIVISION B, Item B-2, and B-5 No bids were received for Division B, Item B-2.
