A. ELECTION OF OFFICERS (Audio Position: 04:25) ACTION After carefule consideration, the following actions were taken: Upon a motion by Dr. Oliver Davis, being seconded by Kara Boyles and unanimoulsy carried, Scott Ford is nominated for and elected President of the City of South Bend Plan Commission. Upon a motion by Jason Piontek, being seconded by Dr. Oliver Davis and unanimoulsy carried, Kara Boyles is nominated for and elected Vice President of the City of South Bend Plan Commission. PUBLIC HEARING A. REZONINGS - None for consideration B. MAJOR SUBDIVISIONS - None for consideration C. TEXT AMENDMENTS - None for consideration D. DEVELOPMENT PLANS - None for consideration ITEMS NOT REQUIRING A PUBLIC HEARING A. MINOR SUBDIVISIONS: Page 1 of 2 SOUTH BEND PLAN COMMISSION 1. DIAMOND VIEW MINOR SUBDIVISION — PC# 0189-24 (Audio Position: 06:20) STAFF REPORT The staff report was presented by Skip Morrell. Staff Recommendation: The Staff has reviewed this subdivision and finds it complies with the requirements for approval as specified by the South Bend Subdivision Control Ordinance. The Staff therefore recommends that this subdivision be granted approval. After due consideration, the following action was taken: Upon a motion by Francisco Fotia, being seconded by Kara Boyles and unanimously carried, the Plan Commission finds the evidence adduced at this Plan Commission Hearing supports each element of the Staff Report, and DIAMOND VIEW MINOR SUBDIVISION Subdivision therefore complies with the City of South Bend Subdivision Control Ordinance and is granted Primary Approval, subject to the following: 1) updating legal description in the header, 2) changing Owner Certification to reflect current property owner, 3) change street name from Michigan to Main, 4) change designation of Monroe Street to minor arterial. Rebecca Ward left the meting virtually at Audio Position 07:09. Due to her absence during the roll call vote, she was unable to cast a vote, however the motion carried with a vote of 7-0. B. FINDINGS OF FACT — December 18, 2023 Edits are needed, will be brought before the Commission at the February 19, 2024 meeting -for approval. C. MINUTES — December 18, 2023 (Audio Position: 07: 49) Rebecca Ward returned virtually at Audio Position 07: 57 Upon a motion by Jason Piontek, being seconded by Kara Boyles and carried by vote, the minutes from the December 18, 2023 Plan Commission meeting were approved.
