The March 25, 2013 Executive Session of the South Bend Common Council was called
to order by Council Vice - President Oliver J. Davis at 3:13 p.m. in the Council's Informal
Meeting Room.
Persons in attendance included Council Members Tim Scott, Henry Davis, Jr., Valerie
Schey, Dr. Fred Ferlic, Oliver J. Davis, Gavin Ferlic, and Karen L. White; E. Spencer Walton,
and Council Attorney Kathleen Cekanski - Farrand.
It was noted that Dr. Varner and Council President Dieter are both sick and unable to
attend.
Council Vice - President Davis stated that the Executive Session was called pursuant to the
Notice dated March 21, 2013 (attached) which states in part that the meeting is being held
pursuant to Indiana Code § 5- 14- 1.5 -6.1 (b)(2)(B) for the discussion of strategy with respect to
pending litigation or litigation which has been threatened in writing.
This is to certify that the only subject matter discussed at this Executive Session was that
contained in the March 21, 2013 "Notice of Executive Session ".
