Agenda: Century Center Board Appointment
The PARC Committee was called to order by its Chairperson Henry Davis to consider a Council
appointment to the Century Center Board of Managers. At issue was whether to reappoint Dennis
Andres, Jr. or replace him with Councilmember Gavin Ferlic. A motion by Tim Scott seconded by Henry
Davis to reappoint Dennis Andres failed by a vote of 2 -2, both Gavin and Dr. Ferlic dissenting. As
Council rules dictate, the President may cast a vote to break a tie. Dieter voted for Andres, making it a
recommendation to Council for Andres by a vote of 3 -2.
Under miscellaneous Chairperson Davis asked the issue of singling out Staffordshire Terriers as a
dangerous breed be taken up the Health & Public Safety Committee on March 11, 2013.
There being no further business to come before the committee at this time, PARC Chairperson, Henry
Davis, adjourned the meeting at 5:30 p.m.
