husband and wife,
Of St. Joseph County in the State of Indiana
Conveys and warrants to CIVIL CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA,
a municipal corporation, Transfc

for and inconsideration of One Dollar and other valuable consideration,
the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, the following Real Estate in St. Joseph
in the State of Indiana, to wit:
A part of Lots Numbered 217, 218, 219 and 220 as shown
on the recorded plat of Daniel Garst's First Addition
to South Bend City, now within and a part of the City
of South Bend, described as follows, viz: Beginning at
the Southwest corner of said Lot Numbered 220, thence
running East on the North line of S,.tmple Street in said
City, a distance of 90 feet; thence North 24� feet;
thence West 90 feet to the West line of said Lot Num-
bered 220; which is the East line of South Main Street,
in said City; thence South on said line 24i' feet to
the place of beginning.
Together with and subject to the free and uninterrupted
use, in common with other owners of said Lots, of a pri-
vate alley 10 feet in width, described as follows, viz:
Beginning at the South East corner of the aforedescribed
tract; thence running East on the North line Of SLtniple
Street 10 feet; thence North 132 feet to the North lin

of said Lot Numbered 217 which is the South line of. a. C__
14 foot public alley lying North of and adjoining sa-
lots; thence West along the South line of said public
alley 10 feet; thence South 132 feet to the place of
beginning.
