This indentui,e witnesseth that -the undersigned,
'Receiver appointed by St. Joseph Circuit Court, State of Indiana,
fSymons, Bank Commissioner of the State of Indiana vs. Toth State
I
Bank?', Cause No. 35936, by order of said court duly made and
entered in said cause on the day of May, 19J+2, hereby con-
(�veys and quit claims to the City of South Bend, Indiana, a
municipal corporation, in consideration of the sum of One (41.00)
Dollar and other good and valuable consideration, the following
described real estate located in St. Joseph County, State of
Indiana, to -wit:
A tract of land forty feet (401) in width East and
West taken off of a portion of the East end of the
South one-half' (1/2) of the East one-half (112) of
the Northeast one -quarter (1/4) of Section 22, Township
51 North, Range 2 East, to be used as part of Gertrude
Street, described as follows: beginning on the East
line of Section 22, Township 37 North, Range 2 Bast,
at a point one thousand three hundred four and two -
tenths feet (1304.21) South of the Northeast corner
thereof; thence South along the East line of said
Section 22, a distance three hundred ninety-nine and
seven -tenths feet (399.71) to a point, said point being
,on the City of South Bend Limits; thence West along
the City Limits line a distance of forty feet (401);
thence 1�orth along a line forty feet (401) West of and
parallel to said East line of Section 22, a distance
of three hundred ninety-nine and seven -tenths feet
(399.71) to a point West of beginning; thence East
forty feet (40t) to the place of beginning.
IN WITNESS WHFREOF the said receiver has hereunto set
its hand and seal this 14 4-day of May, 1942.
