Forty Five Dollars ($45.00) lawful money of the United States of America, to it paid
by the CITY OF SOUTH BEND

aiioU Orag goanlof the State of Indiana party of the second part, the receipt of which is hereby
acknowledged, - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - has sold,
transferred, assigned, and set over, and by these presents does sell, transfer, assign and set over unto the
party of the second part the following property, to wit:
Poles numbered 17657, 3.7666 and 17689, together with any supports thereto, of
the line known as the New York-ChIcago Line, W.D. located In the Clty>o:e South Rqn,&,
County of St. Joseph and State of Indiana, the location of said poles being more
particularly shown on the sketch hereto attached and hereby made a part hereof.
To have and to hold the same unto the party of the second part, its successors and assigns forever.
The party of the first part covenants that it is the lawful owner of the property hereby conveyed."4
-It is expressly understood that the party of the first part does not warrant the right to maintain or use
any of the within described property which is hereby sold, transferred and assigned, at its present location
or for any particular purpose, and does not undertake to secure for, or guarantee to, the party of the second
part any right of way, or any franchise or permission from any governmental authority to maintain or use
said property.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the party of the first part has caused its corporate name to be signed by
its proper officer or agent thereunto duly authorized this 22nd day of June 1955
