GRANT OF BASEMENT

This Grant of Easement executed this 26th day of
September, 1050, by Crown Development Company, Inc., to the City
of. South Bend, Indiana, a Municipal Corporation;

W I T N E S S E T H:

1. In consideration of One Dollar ($1.00) and other
igood and valuable consideration, the undersigned, does hereby
grant to the City of South Bend, Indiana, a Municipal Corporation,;,
an easement ten (10) feet in width, five (5) feet on each side of
j the following described center line, over the following described
property in St. Joseph County, State of Indiana:
Beginning on the southerly line of East
Chippewa Avenue at a point seventy (70)
feet westerly, (measured along southerly
line of said East Chippewa Avenue), from
Northeasterly corner, Lot One Hundred
Seventy-one (171) Miami Hills Addition,
thence Southwesterly a distance of Seventy-
eight (78) feet, more or less, to the
Northwesterly corner of Lot One Hundred
Seventy-two (172) said Miami Hills
Addition.
2. Said easement hereby granted shall be for sewer
purposes. Grantor further accords to the said City the right of
Ingress and egress for the purpose of installing said sewer and
for the further purpose of maintaining and repairing same.
