CORPORAN, husband and wife, of St. Joseph County, Indiana, and ALICE
M. DUCK, of Cook County, State of Illinois, hereby grant and convey
unto the CITY, of SOUTH BEND, its successors and assigns forever, the
construct, operate ana maintain a sewer for the disposal of
and the right to enter upon and over :certain property, here-
inafter described, for the purpose of repairing and maintaining said
sewer, and the right to dig up the surface of said property, for the
Purpose of repairing, maintaining and re -constructing said sewer
through, over and upon the following described real estate, to -wit:
Beginning at a point South eighty-two (82) degrees West of
and fifteen and eighty-three hundredths (15,83) feet from the
Northeast corner of Lot Number 34 in Corporan and Duck's Subdivision
of Lot Number 378 in Fordhans Addition to River Park, now a part
of South Bend, Indiana, thence South three (3) degrees twelve (12)
minutes Last on a line fifty-four (54) feet more or less to the
St. Joseph River, thence South eighty-six (86) degrees forty-eight
(48) minutes Vest on a line twelve (12) feet; thence North three
(3) degrees twelve (12) minutes lest on a line fifty-four (54) feet
more or less to the South line of North Side Boulevard; thence North
eighty-two (82) degrees .Bast on a line, said line being the South
line of North Side Boulevard, to the point of beginning.
The above description covering a strip of land twelve (12)
feet in width and extending from North Side Boulevard to the St.
Joseph River, being a strip six (6) feet on each side of the trunk
sewer known as River Park Trunk Sewer No. 2, in St. Joseph County,
Indiana,
for and in consideration of the payment, by the City of south Bend, of
One Dollar (1.00) and the construction of a twenty foot extension from
the mouth of said sewer into the St. Joseph River, and other valuable
considerations.
