AN ORDINANCE TRANSFERRING $20,000.00 BETWEEN ACCOUNTS WITHIN THE DIVISION OF COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT: The 1984 Community Development Block Grant Program previously appropriated funds planned for economic development activities to the 1984 Unspecified Local Option Fund. This transfer would make funds available for the Economic Development Capital Fund. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana: SECTION I. The sum of $20,000.00 is hereby transferred between accounts as set forth below: Reduce the following accounts: Project No. Description Program Year 1984 Unspecified Local Option Increase the following accounts: Project No. Description CD84 -606.4 Economic Development Capital Fund Amount $20,000.00 Amount $20,000.00 SECTION II. The funds were placed in the 1984 Unspecified Local Option (U.L.O.) Account and the funds were to be appropriated for specific projects at a later date. The attached ordinance would appropriate $20,000.00 from the 1984 U.L.O. Fund for development in the central business district.
