AN ORDINANCE TRANSFERRING $62,000.00 AMONG ACCOUNTS
WITHIN THE DIVISION OF COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT:
The City of South Bend through the Division of Community
Development received supplemental funding under Public Law 98 -8
commonly known as the Jobs Bill. In keeping with the intent of the
Jobs Bill funds, transfers are required in order to utilize the funds
in a timely manner.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the
City of South Bend, Indiana as follows:
SECTION I. The sum of $62,000.00 is hereby transferred
among the accounts as set forth below:

Bill funds. The transfer of the funds is needed for the
additional purposes of the four projects listed: handicapped
access curb cuts, rent -a -teen program, Studebaker Corridor
development, and special public works.
