AN ORDINANCE TRANSFERRING $8,600.00 AMONG
ACCOUNTS WITHIN THE DIVISION OF COMMUNITY
DEVELOPMENT
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT:
The City of South Bend through the Division of Corrmlunity
Development received supplemental funding under Public Law 98 -8 commonly known
as the Jobs Bill. In keeping with the intent of the Jobs Bill funds, transfers
are required in order to utilize the funds in a timely and eligible manner.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Conmon Council of the City of
South Bend, Indiana as follows:
SECTION I. The sum of $8,600.00 is hereby transferred among
the accounts as set forth below:

The bill submitted for your consideration would transfer Jobs Bill funds. The
activities having funds reduced have been completed with a balance remaining,
with the exception of Handicapped Access Curb Cuts. Funds will remain in that
activity after this reduction, however, curb cuts not completed during the
1984 season should be completed early in the 1985 construction season.
