MEMBERS SHARON MCBRIDE AND KAREN WHITE RECOGNIZING CALVIN
JOHNSON FOR 35 YEARS SERVING THE FINANCIAL AND INSURANCE INDUSTRIES
AS A SMALL BUSINESS OWNER AND HIS COUNTLESS OTHER HOURS SERVING HIS
COMMUNITY
Weexem, Calvin Johnson was born and raised in South Bend and has been a lifelong
Michiana resident; and
Calvin opened his insurance agency as a local small business in August 1988; and
Wi , Calvin's agency has consistently qualified as one of the top agencies in the entire
state of Indiana; and
Wlocally, Calvin's agency has been selected as a Reader's Choice Award winner by
the South Bend Tribune for the last ten years; and
Of ar Calvin's activism and dedication to the local community is reflected not only in
the services he provides to his clients,but also in his civic and charitable involvement; and
���1 retz4 this involvement is reflected in church activities, Phi Beta Sigma, Inc. (especially
the toy drives), the Martin Luther King Jr. Foundation, the NAACP and many other boards and
organizations, including his support for the recent Fusion Fest 2023; and

appreciation Tailgate by showing him our appreciation for him.
