AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $107,525. FROM THE YOUTH SERVICE
BUREAU FUND FOR OPERATION OF THE YOUTH SERVICE BUREAU RUNAWAY
SHELTER TO BE ADMINISTERED BY THE YOUTH SERVICE BUREAU OF THE
CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA.
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT:
WHEREAS funds are provided to the Youth Service Bureau
for the operation of the Runaway Shelter covering costs for
the period of July 1, 1985 through June 30, 1986 by the Runaway
and Homeless Youth Act, the Social Service Block Grant, St. Joseph
County Commissioners, and reimbursements for services. These
funds are needed in the following accounts.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of
the City of South Bend, Indiana as follows:
SECTION I. For the expenses of the Shelter of the Youth
Service Bureau for the fiscal year ending June 30, 1986 the
following sums of money are hereby appropriated and ordered
set apart from Fund 73. The sums herein appropriated shall
be deemed to include all expenditures authorized to be made
in said year and shall be distributed as set forth below:

Runaway and Homeless Youth Act 63,000.
Social Service Block Grant 15,525.
Per diems from area County
Welfare Departments 15,000.
St. Joseph County Commissioners 15,000.'*
I believe all line items are self - explanatory. This ordinance covers
the complete cost of the Runaway Shelter for one year.
