GAMMON Approved and signed by me <5/ �,�'1� Mayor ORDINANCE NO . 7s v.5-- --i AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $35 ,000. 00 FROM THE LOCAL ROAD AND STREET FUND TO PROJECT R&S 8501, JEFFERSON STREET & EDDY STREET REALIGNMENT. STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT : In order to meet existing and proposed traffic demands and to provide for safe and efficient movement of vehicles , certain improve- ments are necessary for some streets within the City of South Bend. Funds are now needed to pay for the cost of these improvements . These funds are available from the Local Road and Street Fund. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA: Section I . The following sum of money is hereby ordered set apart from the Local Road and Street Fund for the project in the amount set forth below: PROJECT NO . DESCRIPTION AMOUNT 8501 Jefferson Street & Eddy $35 , 000. 00 Street Realignment Total Project $35 ,000. 00 Section II : This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage by the Common Council and approval by the Mayor.
