ORDINANCE NO. 7,6/6-s--86-
AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $21,000.00 FROM THE
CUMULATIVE SEWER BUILDING AND SINKING FUND TO
PROJECT CS 829 RIVERSIDE DRIVE SEWER, WITHIN
THE CUMULATIVE SEWER BUILDING AND SINKING FUND.
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT:
In the best interest of public health and safety it is necessary
to install a sewer on Riverside Drive. Finds are now needed for the
engineering costs for this improvement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA:
Section I: The following sum of money is hereby appropriated and
ordered set apart from the Cumulative Sewer Building and Sinking Fund
for the project in the amount set forth below:

829 Riverside Drive Sewer $ 21,000.00
Total Appropriation $ 21,000.00
Section II: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its passage by the Common Council and approval by the Mayor.

Dear Councilmen:
The attached is a proposed ordinance requesting an appropriation of $21,000.00
from the Cumulative Sewer Building and Sinking Fund to be used for engineer-
ing services for the Riverside Drive sewer.
The property affected by this project is east of Keller Park and west of the
St. Joseph river. Construction of a sanitary sewer has been ordered by
the St. Joseph County Health Department.
The balance in the Cumulative Sewer Building and Sinking Fund after this
appropriation is $371,328.18.
Your favorable consideration is requested on this proposed ordinance. Should
