ORDINANCE NO. 73-
AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $81,000 . 00 FROM
THE LOCAL ROAD AND STREET FUND TO PROJECT
R&S 8506, SR 23 &OLIVE STREET WIDENING
AND SIGNALIZATION
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT:
In order to meet existing and proposed traffic demands , and
to provide for safe and efficient movement of vehicles , certain
improvements are necessary for some streets within the City of
South Bend.
Funds are now needed to pay for the cost of these improvements .
These funds are available from the Local Road and Street Fund.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA:
Section I : The following sum of money is hereby ordered set
apart from the Local Road and Street Fund for the project in the
amount set forth below:
PROJECT NO. DESCRIPTION AMOUNT
8506 SR 23 & Olive Street Widening $81, 000 . 00
and Signalization
Total Project $81 , 000 . 00
Section II : This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage by the Common Council and approval by
the Mayor .
