AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING THE SUM OF $24, 200
FROM THE SOLID WASTE OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE
FUND FOR THE PURPOSE OF DEFRAYING UNANTICIPATED
COSTS IN 1985.
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT:
WHEREAS, the Common Council of the City of South Bend,
Indiana recognizes the need for an additional appropriation for
unanticipated expenditures within the Solid Waste Operation and
Maintenance Fund.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the
City of South Bend, Indiana as follows:
SECTION I. The sum of $24, 200 is hereby appropriated
to the Solid Waste Operation and Maintenance Fund as set forth below:
398 . 4 Landfill $23, 850
399 . 0 Other Contractuals 350
TOTAL $24, 200
SECTION II. This ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage by the Common Council and approved by
the Mayor.

Solid Waste Fund of $24 , 200. The funds will be primarily
used to offset a 25 per yard landfill cost increase and
increased cubic yardage due to additional customers .
