Home My WebLink About1995-12-15 Resolution 103-. • RESOLUTION NO. 103 RESOLUTION OF THE SOUTH BEND REDEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY DETERMINING TO PAY CERTAIN EXPENSES INCURRED FOR LOCAL PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS IN OR SERVING THE SOUTH BEND CENTRAL AI-LOCATION AREA (SOUTH BEND ALLOCATION AREA NO. lA) WHEREAS, the Authority desires to pay expenses incurred by it for local public improvements that are in or serving the South Bend Central Allocation Area with proceeds from the sale of certain improvements deposited in the South Bend Redevelopment Authority General Fund; and WHEREAS, the expenditures incurred by the South Bend Redevelopment Authority proposed to be paid with sales proceeds deposited in the South Bend Redevelopment Authority General Fund are described on the attached Exhibit "A" ; and V'JIiEREAS, the.South Bend Redevelopment Authority desires to approve said payments from the South Bend Redevelopment Authority General Fund in the total amount of $600,000.00 . for construction/engineering costs associated with the College Football Hall of fame in the South Bend Central Development Area. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the South Bend Redevelopment Authority as follows: 1. The South Bend Redevelopment Authority hereby approves the use of funds in the South Bend Redevelopment Authority General Fund in the amount of Six Hundred Thousand Dollars ($600,000.00) for purposes of paying the expenditures as described on Exhibit "A". The Secretary of the South Bend Redevelopment Authority is hereby authorized and directed to take all necessary steps to obtain the approval of the expenditure of such funds including the publication in accordance with IC 5-3-1 of notice of a hearing on the appropriation of such funds to be held at 4:30 p.m., on December 12, .1995 at 1308 County-City Building, 227 West Jefferson Boulevard, South Bend, Indiana 46601. 2. This Resolution shall be effective from and after December 1, 1995. ADOPTED and all actions undertaken pursuant hereto ratified at a rescheduled regular meeting of the South Bend Redevelopment Authority held on December 12, 1995, at 1308 County-City Building, 227 West Jefferson Boulevard, South Bend, Indiana 46601.
