Committee Chair Sheila Niezgodski opened the floor for Committee members to speak on this Bill. Committee Chair Sheila Niezgodski opened the floor for public comment. There was no one from the virtual audience expressing themselves to speak for or against Bill No. 49-23. The floor was opened up to the Council for comments. Councilmember Troy Warner thanked the City for... Councilmember Tomas Morgan indicated there was discussion at the II_VIC Conference regarding public infrastructure such as water. She is proud to say that the City of South Bend is taking steps to improve their water infrastructure. Councilmember Eli Wax thanked Mr. Horvath for his presentation and thanked the city for taking steps to improve their water infrastructure. Committee Chair Niezgodksi is glad to see the city taking making capital improvements to the City water infrastructure. Committee Member Troy Warner motioned to send Bill No. 49-23 to the Committee of the Whole with a favorable recommendation. Committee member Rachel Tomas Morgan seconded the motion.
