AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $130 , 000 FROM THE COVELESKI
REGIONAL STADIUM FUND TO ACCOUNT 399. 0 CONTRACTUAL
SERVICES IN SAID FUND TO BE ADMINISTERED BY THE
DEPARTMENT OF ADMINISTRATION AND FINANCE OF THE CITY
OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA.
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT:
Funds are needed to meet development expenses including
engineering, architectural, legal, appraisal fees and acquisition
costs for the Stanley Coveleski Baseball Stadium Project.
Funds are available within the Coveleski Regional Stadium
Fund.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE Common Council of the
City of South Bend, Indiana:
SECTION I . That the sum of $130 ,000 is hereby appropriated
for the year 1986 from the Coveleski Regional Stadium appropriation
to be administered by the Department of Administration and Finance
and will be distributed as set forth below:
399 .0 Other Contractuals $130 ,000
SECTION II. That this Ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from this day after its passage by the Common Council and
approval by the Mayor.

Dear President Beck:
The enclosed ordinance is being filed for first reading of the
February 24, 1986 Council meeting. The ordinance would appropriate
$130 ,000 from the Coveleski Regional Stadium Fund. Funds would be
used to cover additional costs associated with appraisal and
acquisition costs, and those expenses related to architectural and
engineering fees for the project.
