Dear President Beck:
The enclosed ordinance appropriating $34, 186. 00 from the
Federal Revenue Sharing Trust Fund is being filed for 1st reading of
the March 10, 1986 Council Meeting. This appropriation will allow
the City to make exterior repairs and repaint the Colfax Parking
Garage and the St. Joseph Street Parking Garage. The cost is based
on the low bid awarded by the Board of Public Works on February 4,
1986.
Repainting the garages not only helps to seal and preserve the
concrete material of which they are made, but also helps present the
downtown area in the best possible light.
If you have any questions concerning this appropriation,
please feel free to contact me.
Sincerely,
Michael L. ance, Director
Administration & Finance
