ORDINANCE NO. 160 7
AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $120,000.00 FORM THE LOCAL
ROAD AND STREET FUND TO PROJECT R&S 8507, R-O-W
ACQUISITION LOGAN/HICKORY, WITHIN THE LOCAL ROAD
AND STREET FUND.
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT:
In order to meet existing and proposed traffic demands and to provide
for safe and efficient movement of vehicles, certain improvements are
necessary for Logan/Hickory from the Grand Trunk Tracks to Edison within
the City of South Bend.
Funds are now needed to pay for the cost of the R-O-W acquisition portion
of this project. These funds are available from the Local Road and Street
Fund.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of South
Bend, Indiana.
SECTION I. The following sum of money is hereby ordered set apart from
the Local Road and Street Fund for the Project in the amount set forth
below:

Total Project $ 120,000.00
SECTION II. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its passage by the Common Council and approval by the Mayor.
