AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $84,940. 00 FROM THE
WATER WORKS DEPRECIATION FUND TO ACCOUNT NUMBER
399. 0 WITHIN THAT FUND
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT:
The purpose of this Ordinance is to appropriate funds for
the installation of certain systems at the North Pumping Station of
the South Bend Water Utility.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, AS FOLLOWS :
SECTION I. The sum of $84,940.00 is hereby appropriated
from the Water Works Depreciation Fund and shall be set apart within
Account Number 399. 0 of such fund for the purpose of financing the
installation of certain control systems at the North Pumping Station
of the South Bend Water Utility.
SECTION II. This Ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage by the Common Council and approval
by the Mayor and by the State Board of Tax Commissioners .

Dear President Beck:
I am filing an additional appropriation ordinance for 1st
reading of the February 3 , 1986 Council Meeting. The ordinance will
appropriate $84,940. 00 from the Water Works Depreciation Fund to
Account 399 .0 Services Contractual within said fund. This additional
appropriation will allow the South Bend Water Works to make final
payment on the Water Works automated information and management
control system. If you will recall, the contractual documents based
on bids received and installation of that system was approved in 1983
by the South Bend Common Council.
