2013 South Bend Common Council
The February 18, 2013 meeting of the Community Investment Committee was called to
order by its Chairperson, Council Member Gavin Ferlic, at 5:52 p.m.
Persons in attendance included Council Members Scott, Henry Davis, Jr., Schey, Dr. Fred
Ferlic, Oliver J. Davis, Dieter, Gavin Ferlic, and Karen L. White; Pong Yin (Amy Le) Le,
and Council Attorney Kathleen Cekanski-Farrand.
Council Member Ferlic noted that the Committee Members include Council Member
Henry Davis, Jr., who is the Vice-Chairperson, Council Member Valerie Schey, Dr. Fred
Ferlic, and himself as Chairperson. A quorum was present.
Council Member Ferlic noted that the purpose of the meeting was to interview applicant
who is interested in being appointed to the Urban Enterprise Association (UEA). Pong
Yin (Amy Le) Le was then called into the committee meeting and interviewed.
Formal action will be taken at next Monday's Committee meeting.
There being no further business to come before the Committee, Council Member Gavin
Ferlic adjourned the meeting at 6:00 p.m.
