AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $526, 000. 00 FROM
THE CUMULATIVE SEWER BUILDING AND SINKING
FUND TO PROJECT CS 830 PENDLE, JUNIPER AND
DOUGLAS RD. SEWERS WITHIN THE CUMULATIVE
SEWER BUILDING AND SINKING FUND
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT:
In the best interest of public health and safety it is necessary
to install a sewer along Pendle, Juniper and Douglas roads. Funds
are now needed for the cost of construction for these improvements.
These funds are avaiable from the Cumulative Sewer Building and
Sinking Fund.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA.
Section I: The following sum of money is hereby appropriated
and ordered set apart from the Cumulative Sewer Building and Sinking
Fund for the project in the amount set forth below:

Section II: This ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage by the Common Council and

The attached is a proposed ordinance requesting an appropriation of
$526,000. 00 from the Cumulative Sewer Building and Sinking Fund for
the construction of a sewer along Pendle, Juniper and Douglas Roads.
The balance of the Cumulative Sewer Building and Sinking Fund after
this appropriation is $50,114. 98.
