AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $40,862. 00 FROM
THE CUMULATIVE SEWER BUILDING AND SINKING
FUND TO VARIOUS PROJECTS
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT:
In the best interest of public health and safety it is necessary
to close out varius projects throughout the City. Funds are now needed
in order to close these projects. These funds are available from the
Cumulative Sewer Building and Sinking Fund.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA.
Section I : The following sum of money is hereby appropriated
and ordered set apart from the Cumulative Sewer Building and Sinking
Fund for the project in the amount set forth below:

829 Riverside Sewer $ 416.25
Total Appropriation $ 40,862. 04
Section II: This ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage by the Common Council and
approval by the Mayor.

Dear Councilmen:
The attached is a proposed ordinance requesting an appropriation of
$40,862. 00 from the Cumulative Sewer Building and Sinking Fund to be
used for various projects within the City of South Bend. Additional
monies were needed due to the cost of construction and engineering.
The balance in the Cumulative Sewers Fund after this appropriation is
$329, 909. 52.
