Jones Approved and signed by me 117 20 23 Mayor n . 5 :R SUBSTITUTE BILL NO. 37-23 ORDINANCE NO. 10950-23 AN ORDINANCE OF THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA,AMENDING THE ZONING ORDINANCE FOR PROPERTY LOCATED 1215 AND 1217 VAN BUREN COUNCILMANIC DISTRICT NO. 2 IN THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT Petitioners desire to rezone the property from U1 Urban Neighborhood 1 to U2 Urban Neighborhood 2. NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana, as follows: SECTION I. Ordinance No. 10689-19, which ordinance is commonly known as the Zoning Ordinance of the City of South Bend, Indiana, be and the same hereby amended in order that the zoning classification of the following described real estate in the City of South Bend, St. Joseph County, State of Indiana: BEGINNING AT A POINT ON THE SOUTH LINE OF SAID LOT NUMBERED 81, 66 FEET WEST OF THE SOUTHEAST COMER OF SAID LOT, THENCE NORTH 120 FEET; THENCE WEST 33 FEET; THENCE SOUTH 120 FEET TO VAN BUREN STREET; THENCE EAST 33 FEET TO THE PLACE OF BEGINNING, TOGETHER WITH A RIGHT- OF-WAY OVER A STRIP 10 FEET IN WIDTH NORTH AND SOUTH EXTENDING FROM THE NORTH END OF SAID TRACT EAST TO A PUBLIC. COMMONLY KNOWN AS 1217 VANBURENT ST, SOUTH BEND, INDIANA. A PART OF LOTS NO. EIGHTY-ONE (81), EIGHTY-TWO (82) AND EIGHTY- THREE (83) OF A.G. CUSHING'S FOURTH (4TH) ADDITION TO THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, WHICH PART IS BOUNDED BY A LINE RUNNING AS FOLLOWS: BEGINNING ON THE SOUTH LIKE OF SAID LOT EIGHTY-ON (81) AT A POINT THIRTY-THREE (33) FEET WEST OF THE SOUTHEAST CORNER OF SAID LOT 81, THENCE WEST THIRTYOTHREE (33) FEET, THENCE NORTH ONE HUNDRED TWENTY (120) FEET, THENCE EAST THIRTY-THREE (33) FEET, THENCE SOUTH ONE HUNDRED TWENTY (120) FEET TO THE PLACE OF BEGINNING.
