The amount for the contract is a decrease of $6,767.67 to the contract amount bringing the final contract amount to $99,232.33 It is requested the Board of Public Works approve Amendment #1 to the PSA with Lawson Fisher and Associates for a decrease of the contract price by $6,767.67. This is EXHIBIT K, consisting of 3 pages, referred to in and part of the Agreement between Owner and Engineer for Professional Services dated December 14, 2021. WHEREAS, the Owner requested that the Engineer evaluate the existing signal warrant at Mishawaka Avenue and Beyer/Longfellow intersection. WHEREAS, in the course of project development the Engineer was directed to delay work by the Owner to further evaluate other grant opportunities and consider additional impacts in the vicinity. Page 1 WHEREAS, the Owner now plans to develop a larger, more comprehensive project expanded beyond and encompassing these project limits where the services of the Engineer will not be required. NOW, THEREFORE, it is agreed by and between the Owner and Engineer that the following Articles in the agreement are amended, deleted, or changed: CHANGE Article A1.02 Conceptual Corridor Improvement C. The Engineer shall develop a conceptual drawing for review and comment by the Owner based on scope meeting input and the city consultant's conceptual drawing. The Engineer shall conduct a three 3 review meetings to receive conceptual drawing comments. Engineer shall investigate rear angle parking, flush edge curbing, center parking, ramps impacts, construction estimates, and the signal warrant at Mishawaka Avenue and Bever/Longfellow. D. The Engineer shall coordinate and perform a project site meeting three (3) times with Owner staff, utilities and other identified stakeholders for the proposed corridor Road Diet improvements, bicycle and pedestrian access, intersection signal modernization, and other improvements or changes. The conceptual drawing shall be updated by the Engineer from comments received at the site meeting. Engineer shall develop three 3 concepts based on comments received. The finalized conceptual drawing shall be the basis of design for subsequent project development phases. F. Develop a three 3 presentation drawings for use during public meetings in general accordance with public hearing visual design preparation guide. CHANGE Article C2.01 B. 1. Compensation: a.
