bids for the above referenced bid, due to bids exceeding the available budget for the project.

DATE: July 7, 2023
On June 27, 2023, the Board of Public Works received, opened and entered into the record public
bids for Project No. 122-019 Sewer and Manhole Rehabilitation. One bid was received from
National Power Rodding for a bid total of $6,869,100.
After reviewing the bid, the Division of Engineering recommends that the Board of Public Works
reject the bid received for the subject project since the bid received exceeded the available
$3,750,000 budget for the project.
The Division of Engineering will review the Bid Plans and Bid Specifications with the Division of
Utilities and the design consulta nt, VS Engineering in an effort to reassess the scope of the work
and bid format. Engineering would like to readvertise with a revised Bid Package.
