AMENDMENT TO OWNER-ENGINEER AGREEMENT Amendment No. __1___ 1. Background Data: a. Effective Date of Owner-Engineer Agreement: March 28, 2023 b. Owner: City of South Bend, Indiana c. Engineer: Black & Veatch Corporation d. Project: Annual Water Hydraulic Model Calibration Assistance 2. Description of Modifications: a. Engineer shall perform or furnish the following Additional Services: Task 105 – On-Call Hydraulic Modeling Services Engineer will provide water distribution system hydraulic modeling services as requested by the Owner. Services will be requested verbally or in an email. Prior to starting work the Engineer will provide a not to exceed hourly estimate and a schedule to the Owner. Work will be started once the Owner approves the hourly estimate and fee. Services anticipated to be included under this agreement include modeled pressure and velocity information for pipelines, simulated fire flow results for hydrants, analysis of new developments in the system, and analysis of changes to the system such as facility outages or closed pipelines. Other services may be performed at the request of the Owner. The Owner’s most up-to-date hydraulic model will be utilized for each analysis. Owner staff will provide background information as necessary to complete each analysis. A summary PowerPoint slide of the modeling results will be provided to the Owner as the deliverable for each on-call request. All rights reserved. 3.Additional Services For any additional services, or modifications to services set forth above, Owner shall pay Engineer the following additional or modified compensation: For professional services described under Paragraph 2.a for Task 105, Owner agrees to pay Engineer in accordance with the Agreement for Professional Services on a Standard Hourly Rate basis. The total compensation for Amendment 2 shall increase the not-to-exceed amount by $5,000 and shall not be revised without written authorization. 4.Schedule Work completed under this amendment is on-call and will be completed per the agreed upon schedule at the time the work is initiated. 5.Agreement Summary (Reference only) a.
