on April 25, 2023. The Division of Utilities – Wastewater and Division of Engineering have reviewed
the subject bids and find them complete and responsive. The bids ranked as followed for the

Ferric Chloride: Kemira $ 2.35 Unit Price
Sulfur Dioxide – 1 Ton Cylinders: Alexander Chemical Corp. $ 999.00 Unit Price

Important Clarification:
In accepting the subject chemical bids, the Divisions would like the Board to recognize that the
prices for Chlorine – 1 Ton Cylinders and Sulfur Dioxide – 1 Ton Cylinders are subject to
adjustment for market pricing throughout the 2023-24 contract period and could be impacted on
a quarterly basis subject to supplier providing notice of the changes.
The Division of Utilities – Wastewater will fund the treatment chemicals procurement through
Sewage Works Operations, Supplies-Operating-Water Treatment Chemicals Account
Number 641-06-605-514-422012.
