lommttt a eport: <br /> Virroortrott anb finatut Qommtttu <br /> The October 22, 2001 meeting of the Personnel and Finance Committee was called to order by its <br /> Chairperson, Council Member James Aranowski at 4:07 p.m. in the Council Informal Meeting <br /> Room. <br /> Persons in attendance included Council Members Aranowski, Kelly, King, Varner, Coleman, <br /> Ujdak and White; Robert Rosenfeld, Terry Bland of the oUt n tXtbUnM, and Kathleen <br /> Cekanski-Farrand, Council Attorney. <br /> Council Member Aranowski stated that the first item on the agenda was to review Bill No. 99-01 <br /> which would amend § 20-67 of the South Bend Municipal Code. <br /> Deputy City Attorney Robert Rosenfeld made the presentation. He noted that this bill would <br /> clarify the penalty provision regarding parking tickets. Multiple parking in the same block is <br /> prohibited and the new language clarifies this prohibition. <br /> Following discussion, Council Member Varner made a motion, seconded by Council Member <br /> King that Bill No. 99-01 be recommended favorably to Council. The motion passed. <br /> Council Member Aranowski noted that he had received a letter requesting that Bill No. 100-01 be <br /> continued until the November 26th Council meeting. <br /> There being no further business to come before the Committee, Council Member Aranowski <br /> adjourned the meeting at 4:10 p.m. <br /> Respectfully submitted, <br /> Council Member James Aranowski, Chairperson <br /> Personnel and Finance Committee <br /> KCF:kmf <br /> Attachments <br /> 0 <br />
