• RESOLUTION NO. 55
A RESOLUTION OF THE SOUTH BEND REDEVELOPMENT. .AUTHORITY
RELATING TO ACQUISITION OF PROPERTY WITHIN THE
AIRPORT ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AREA
WHEREAS, the real estate identified at Attachment "A" hereto,
situated in the Airport Economic Development Area, is needed and
considered useful by the South Bend. Redevelopment Authority in
furtherance of the Airport Economic Development Plan .adopted.. by the
South Bend Redevelopment Commission; and
WHEREAS, the South Bend Redevelopment Authority, pursuant to
I.C. 36-7-14..5-12(a)(4) is authorized to purchase and hold any real
estate needed or considered useful in connection with any
redevelopment project or purpose of the South Bend Redevelopment
Commission..
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the South .Bend Redevelopment
Authority that the Director of Redevelopment of the City of South
Bend as agent for. the South Bend Redevelopment Authority is
authorized and directed to cause a notice and final offer in
writing forithe real estate to be made to the owner(s) identified
at Attachment "A" at the respective concurred-in price, also set
for that Attachment "A", which final offer shall include an
invitation to discuss the acquisition of owner's property with the.
Department of Redevelopment within thirty (30) days from mailing
and notification.
Adopted at the Special Meeting of the South Bend Redevelopment
Authority held on June 5, 1992 in the office of the Authority; 12.00
County-City Building, 227 West Jefferson Boulevard, South Bend,
Indiana 4'6601.
