NOTICE OF INDEPENDENT REGISTERED MUNICIPAL ADVISORS
RETAINED BY CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA
By publicly posting the following written disclosure, the City of South Bend, IN (the "City") intends
that market participants receive and use it for purposes of the· independent registered municipal
advisor exemption to the Securities and Exchange Commission's Municipal Advisor Rule. Notice is
hereby given that the City has retained registered municipal advisors.
The City is represented by and will rely upon its registered municipal advisors including, without limitation, Crowe LLP, and Baker Tilly Municipal Advisors, LLC, to provide advice on proposals received from
financial services firms concerning the issuance of municipal securities and municipal products (including
investment of bond proceeds and escrow investments). In order to know which registered municipal advisor
is being used for a particular program or transaction, please contact the City of South Bend at 227 West
Jefferson Blvd., Suite 1200 N South Bend, IN 46601 or at (574) 235-9822. Persons seeking to rely on the independent registered municipal advisor exemption should conduct their own diligence as to whether the
registered municipal advisor firms listed above are "independent" for purposes of the exemption. The City
makes no representations or warranties regarding whether such firms are independent for purposes of the
exemption.
Proposals may be addressed to the City with attention to the City Controller. If a proposal received
will be seriously considered by the City, such proposal will be shared with the designated registered
municipal advisor for such program. Please note that aside from regulatorily required correspondence
between an underwriter and a municipal advisor, underwriters should not speak directly with, or send
documents directly to, the City’s registered municipal advisors, unless specifically directed to do so by
the City. This certificate may be relied up until December 31, 2026.
