RESOLUTION NO. 50
A RESOLUTION OF THE SOUTH BEND REDEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY
RELATING TO ACQUISITION OF PROPERTY WITHIN THE
SOUTH BEND CENTRAL DEVELOPMENT AREA
.WHEREAS, the real estate identified at Attachment "A" hereto,
situated in the South Bend Central Development Area, is needed-and
considered useful by the South Bend Redevelopment Authority in
furtherance of the South Bend Central Development Plan adopted by the
South Bend Redevelopment Commission; and
WHEREAS, the South. Bend Redevelopment Authority, pursuant to I.C.
36-7-14.5-12(a){4) is authorized to purchase and hold any real estate
needed or considered useful in connectian with any redevelopment
project or purpose of the South, Bend Redevelopment Commission.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the South Bend Redevelopment
A•u.thority that the Director of Redevelopment of the City of South
Bend as agent for the South Bend Redevelopment Authority is
authorized and directed to cause a notice and final offer in writing
for the real estate to be made to the owner(s) identified at
Attachment "A" at the respective concurred-in price, also set for
that Attachment "A,11 which final offer shall include an invitation to
discuss the acquisition of owner`s property with the Department. of
.Redevelopment within thirty (30) days from mailing and notification.
Adopted at the Special Meeting of the South Bend Redevelopment
Authority held on April 30, 1992 in the office of the Authority,. 1200
County-City Building,- 227 West 3effersan Boulevard, South. Bend,
Indiana 46601.
