The June 11, 2001 Executive Session of the South Bend Common Council and Board of Public
Safety was called to order by Council President Charlotte Pfeifer at 5:17 p.m. in the Council
Informal Meeting Room.
Persons in attendance included Council Members: Coleman, Kelly, Ujdak, Varner, King,
Aranowski, Kirsits, White and Pfeifer; Thomas Bodnar, Chief Richard Kilgore, Cheryl Greene,
Elmer Carr, Thadeus T. Zakowski, John Neighbours and Kathleen Cekanski-Farrand, Council
Attorney.
Council President Pfeifer noted that the Executive Session of the Council and the Board was called
pursuant to the Indiana state law which permits Executive Sessions for the purpose of discussing
strategy with respect to the Police Department negotiations.
Council Member Charlotte Pfeifer, as President of the South Bend Common Council hereby
certifies that nothing was discussed in this Executive Sessions that was not properly posted in the
official "Notice of Executive Session"dated June 7,2001.
Council President Pfeifer adjourned the meeting at 6:15 p.m.
