RESOLUTION NO.
A RESOLUTION OF THE SOUTH BEND REDEVELOPMENT AUTHORLTY
APPROVING AND ACCEPTING THE TRANSFER OF REAL PROPERTY
FROM THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND,. INDLANA REDEVELOPMENT. COMMISSION
WHEREAS., the City of. South Bend ("City") is owner of the
following-de crbed. real.property situated in St. Joseph County:
Parcels. No. 62-C1P and. 62-A1P
Commencing at the Northwest Corner of the
Southeas One-Quarter (1/4) of Section. Twenty {20)
Township Thirty-eight:{T 38 N) North Range Two (R
2 E) East,. and running in a southerly direction.
along the North-Southcenterli.ne of section Twenty
(20) a distance of four hundred.twenty-seven (427)
feet to the: point of beginning, thence in a

the City of South Bend (the "Board.") has custody of and may maintain
all real property of the:. City of South. Bend.;. and:
WHEREAS, the Board., in Resolution / Z-' ~ ~ Q 2.._ , to be adopted. on
March 2, 1992, will express. its desire to transfer tit e to the Real.
Property to the. South Bend Redeve opment Authority; and.
WHEREAS, the South Bend. Redeye opment Authority is desirous of
acquiring title to the Real Property from the City; and.
WHEREAS., pursuant to Resolution No. 33 of the South Bend..
Redevelopment Authority, adopted. March 8, 1991 the South Bend
• Redeye.lopment Authari y elected to abide by the provisions of I.G.
36-1-11-8, and. thus. may exchange or transfer property with another
governmental. entity upon terms and conditions agreed... upon by the two
(2) entities as evidenced by the adoption.. of subs antial.ly identica
reso-lutions of each entity; and:
WHEREAS., the. City of South Bend.,. Indiana has agreed to transfer.
title to the Real Property to the:. South. Bend Redevelopment Authority
and. the South Bend.Redeveaopment Authority (a.c ing by and through the.
Board.), has. agreed... to acquire the.Rea.l Property from. the City for- the
sum of Ten Dollars ($lA.QO) and other good. and: valuable
consideration.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE. LT RESOLVED BY THE SOUTH. BEND REDEVELOPMENT
AUTHORLTY AS FOLL(JWS
