Personnel and Finance Committee

The January 24, 2000 meeting of the Personnel and Finance was called to order by its
Chairperson, Council Member James Aranowski, at 4:30 p.m. in the Council informal
meeting room.
Persons in attendance included Council Members: Aranowski, Varner, Ujdak, Pfeifer,
Kelly, Coleman, White, Kirsits and King; Keith Crane, Bob Allen, Terry Bland and
Kathleen Cekanski-Farrand, Council Attorney.
Council Member Aranowski noted that the Council Members on the Committee included
Council Members Varner,King,White and himself. He further noted that he called the
meeting so the an overview of upgrading communication services could be provided.
Keith Crane provided a handout dated January 11,2000 to the Committee addressing
network fundamentals.
Bob Allen fielded a series of questions and informed the Committee that the Committee
meeting schedule and minutes of Committee minutes could be put on the web. He
suggested that such information be sent via the City Clerk's Office.
Under miscellaneous business,Council Member Aranowski noted that the capital budget
would be coming up for review in February.
There being no further business to come before the Committee, Council Member
Aranowski adjourned the meeting at 4:50 p.m.
