Gentlemen:-- We, the undersigned property owners, petition your honor- able body to vacate the Public Alley wh i ch extends from the 1forth line of East Colfax Avenue North one-half block to t he first alley running 'East and est in O t e ) i C ttre ' -»--'-·~i~o------.._...__.ii!III now a part of the City of South Bend; said lot Fifteen (16) being bound- ed on the North by Lasalle Avenue , on the East by Eddy Street, on the South by Colfax Avenue a nd on the Best by Francis ~treet . The alley to be vacated as referred to above bei ng fourteen (14) by one hundred ninety-eight (198) feet and in the ~outh half of said block fifteen (15). The title to all of the South half of the above described block is in the name of Harry A. Engman and ltaude B. Engman , his wife , they being the property owners on either side of the alley which the peti tioners herein ask to be vaca ted.
