NOTICE OF RESOLUTION OF VACA.--TION-NO. 28. Notice Is hereby given that the board of public works of said city at a meet-Ing held on the 4th day of June, 1904, adopted a resolution for the vacatlop of the following described property: 'That port\on of •Demler stroef' lying between the north line of Ewing aYe-nue and the $outh line of the first r~lero nprh of Ewing avenue and paral-The object of such vacation is to efl'ect the uniformity of adjacent plats. The following persons are Interested In these proceedings: Lot 11 and 12, in Demler's survey. Said board will meet at 10 a. m. on the· 211!!t dlay of .June, 1904. at its office in the city hall and receive and )1ear remonstrances from all persons ln-terei;ted In or affected by these pro-ceeding~.

Petition for the Vacation of Demler Street.
To the Honorable the Board of Public Works :
The undersigned, freeholder in the City of
South Bend, Indiana, respectfully prays that the street
running one hundred and forty-five (145) feet noth from the
north line of Ewing Avenue in the City of South Bend, St?.Toseph
County, in the State of Indiana, a nd being fifty feet wi de,
and lmown as Demler Street, be vacated for t he re a son that
it affords no inlet or outlet to anyone, and that the
persons ovming the property immediately to the north of s a id
Demler Street have platted their property without putting
through any street in line with or corresponding •,7i th said
Demler Street, and t hat the same is but 145 feet in length,
and that said 145 foot street can be of no service or public
utility:
And your petitioner .furthermore rep resents that h e o,,ms
the entire frontage on both sides of said street, and that
there are not other abutting property o·,mers upon said 145
foot street:
And your petitioner also files herewith a map of so
much of said Demler Street as it is proposed to vacate/ showing
the surrounding locality thereof.
