Residential Neighborhoods Standing Committee Meeting Cancelled
The meeting of the South Bend Common Council Residential Neighborhoods Standing
Committee meeting scheduled for February 8, 2023, at 4:00 p.m. has been cancelled. Notice of
the meeting was provided by The City Clerk’s office via by e-mail on Tuesday, February 7, 2023
at approximately 9:03 a.m. This Notice did not comply with the legal requirement that Notice be
provided at least 48 hours (excluding Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays) prior to the meeting.
The City Clerk’s office notified the Committee Chair, Karen White, by e-mail at approximately
9:29 that it was discovered that Notice of the meeting had not been posted last week, as
requested, and the meeting would have to be rescheduled.
The City Clerk sent out Notice of the cancellation at 9:34 a.m.
Although the Common Council was not consulted regarding the late notice or the cancellation, it
apologizes for any inconvenience resulting from the cancellation.
