CALL OF SPECIAL MEETING OF THE COMMON COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA

Pursuant to Chapter 2, Article 1, Section 2-5 (a) of the South Bend, Indiana Municipal Code,
Mayor James Mueller hereby calls a special meeting of the South Bend Common Council to be held
on Monday, February 6, 2023.
The special meeting shall consist of a meeting of the Council Committees as per the agenda
issued for the Committee meetings originally scheduled for Monday January 23, 2023 with slight
modification, and a meeting of the full Council at 7:00 p.m. on February 6, 2023, of the matters on the
Council’s original, unmodified agenda of Monday, January 23, 2023. These meetings will be held in
the 13th Floor Conference Room, County-City Building.
The purpose of the special meeting is to transact the Council business that could not be
accomplished at the regular meeting of the Common Council scheduled for Monday January 23, 2023.
That meeting was cancelled. The specific information about the special meeting is as follows:
MEETING DATE AND TIME: Monday, February 6, 2023, Committee Meetings
originally set for January 23, 2023, per the slightly modified agenda as included herein
will be heard beginning at 3:30 p.m. The Council regular meeting will begin at 7:00
p.m. with the original January 23, 2023 agenda intact.
MEETING LOCATION: 13th Floor Conference Room, 13th Floor of the County City
Building, 227 W. Jefferson Boulevard, South Bend, Indiana 46601 (Committee
Meetings and full Council Meeting).
SOLE AND ONLY PURPOSE:
TO HEAR AND ACT UPON THOSE MATTERS THAT WERE THE
SUBJECT OF THE COMMITTEE MEETINGS AGENDA AS SLIGHTLY
MODIFIED, AND THE REGULAR MEETING AGENDA FOR THE COMMON
COUNCIL MEETINGS OF JANUARY 23, 2023, which agendas are duplicated
below. From the original Committee meeting agenda of January 23, 2023, the
meeting of the Board of Finance Committee has been deleted because their meeting
was rescheduled to January 31, 2023 and the Informal Meeting of the Common
Council is deleted by request of the Council President:
