The September 25, 2000 Executive Session of the Common Council and the Board of
Public Safety was called to order by Council President Charlotte Pfeifer at 4:45 p.m. in the
Council Informal Meeting room.
Persons in attendance included Council Members Aranowski, Pfeifer, Varner, Kelly,
King, Ujdak, Kirsits, Coleman, and White; City Attorney John Broden, and Kathleen Cekanski-
Farrand, Council Attorney.
It is hereby certified that only discussions which took place at this Executive Session called
pursuant to Indiana Code § 5-14-1.5-6.1 for the purpose of receiving information from the City
Attorney on the "initiation of litigation or litigation that is either pending or has been threatened
specifically in writing" involving the City of South Bend, pursuant to the September 21, 2000
posted notice of such session.
Council President Pfeifer adjourned the meeting at 5:15 p.m.
